I've really enjoyed this compass and it has been a wonderful conversation starter. I bought this for myself along with a silver box chain by Stanley London. It is feminine, delicate and yet sturdy enough for every day wear. It is not "trinket looking" or too obtrusive but rather a well crafted piece of jewelry. There is just something symbolic about compasses, perhaps it is the idea of centering yourself and of finding your way through the world.
